It all happened very quickly then.
New moon, the sequel of the Twilight saga, is a story about the devastating separation of Edward and Bella and the new infatuation of Bella to Jacob Black. It includes the appearance of dangerous wolves in the forest of Forks, the revenge of a female vampire and the encounter of Bella and Edward with Italy’s reigning royal family of vampires, the Volturi.
   Everything is not well between accident-prone Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), her vampire Romeo. A simple paper cut in Bella’s finger at Edward’s house during her 18th birthday puts her in serious danger. The Cullens cannot resist their hunger for blood when they smell Bella’s. The Cullens immediately leave the town, for the sake of Edward’s beloved. On the other hand, Bella suffers depression. Months later, she finally emerges from her depression to rebuild her life, and focuses on her friendship with teen Jacob (Taylor Lautner) from the reservation called La Push. Bella’s unhealthy fascination to Edward leads her into dangerous and self-destructive behavior despite of having new friends yet supernatural complications are bound to happen. A sinister vampire named Victoria is hunting Bella and Jacob’s ill temper turns out to be developing into a werewolf.

Surely you’ll be all interested with the newly added characters especially the werewolves, The Quiluete Tribe and the royal family of the vampires, The Volturi. This coven of vampires resides in Volterra, Italy, which is regarded as "royalty" by other vampires because they have lived over three thousand years and act as authorities. Several powerful vampires have been recruited because of their powers and skills.
In the end, the Volturi have discovered that Bella, a human, has known that vampires exist. Consequently, she must be converted into a vampire; otherwise she’ll be killed.
One of the significant parts in the movie is the introduction of werewolves or shape shifters (Quiluete Tribe) and their legends. Werewolves in the Twilight universe do not age, if and only if they regularly phase into wolves. They heal quickly, have extraordinary speed and strength, and can communicate telepathically with each other while in their wolf forms.

The soundtrack of the movie is “Meet Me at the Equinox” by Death Cab for Cutie. It was written specifically for New Moon and chosen as the featured tune over recordings by Thom Yorke, Bon Iver and Muse, all of whom will appear on the album. It debuted last September 13 at the MTV Music Awards. While the New Moon soundtrack is to be released on October 20, 2009
